Short bio
Margarida Garrido is a Professor at Iscte and co-coordinator of BEC research group at CIS-Iscte. Her research relies on a situated approach to human cognition, namely memory, cognitive representations, and processing of a second language. She also explores its implications for the study of abusive parenting, social images of institutionalized children/youth, memory processing in clinical populations, and in the areas of consumer psychology, marketing and eating behavior.
