Workshop on Family Foster Care

The research group of the Center for Psychological Research and Social Intervention (CIS-Iscte) Community, Education, and Development (CED) will join forces with the Master's Degree in Community Psychology, Protection of Children and Youth at Risk for a reflection on the implementation of family foster care.

Through a round table discussion with Jane Valente, social worker and researcher at the State University of Campesinas (Brazil), the workshop will cover the training of foster families, children's transitions, life narratives, educational models and behavior management. The workshop will take place at Iscte's JJ Laginha Auditorium on March 10, 2025, from 14:30 (02:30 PM) to 17:00 (5 PM) and is aimed at students and professionals. Prior registration is not required.
