The HEARTS project team at CIS-Iscte organizes a 8-hour workshop focused on fostering Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) in research practices. The workshop "Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in Research Practices: Promoting Well-Being From Research Participation to Research Teams" is open to Iscte's PhD students at Iscte.

About:
This workshop will provide participants with awareness, knowledge, tools and strategies to integrate Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) principles into their research practices, ensuring that both research participants and research teams benefit from equitable and inclusive approaches, promoting the well-being of all. We will discuss the challenges of assessing diversity (specific diversity dimensions like migration/ethnicity, gender and sexual orientation)and recommendations on how to take it into account in research practices (such as the development of questions and instruments, inclusive language, or recruitment).
PhD students from any Iscte PhD program can apply.

Registrations will close on February 24 or earlier if the workshop reaches full capacity. The workshop will take place at Iscte's Building 4 in two 4-hour session, February 28 and March 7, from 09:30 to 13:30. The room for each session will be communicated by email to those registered.
