In the third episode of a 'mini-series' on social ties, Luísa Lima shares her knowledge about the weight that social relationships may carry. The researcher reflects how social roles and their attached expectations affect our relationships, such as being a parent, or a son/daughter, but also a leader, for example. "There are many 'mirrors' of many people wanting [different] things from us(...), there are roles that are more compatible than others, but, in a way, we are the sum of them all", she says. Listen to the whole episode on the Foundation's website and on the usual podcast platforms (only in Portuguese).
Check the first episode focused on the interpersonal relationships in the digital vs. real world and the second one about loneliness.
