In the second episode of a 'mini-series' on social ties, Luísa Lima shares her knowledge about loneliness. According to the expert, "loneliness is a subjective experience and it begins to be worrisome when there is suffering". She adds that the loneliness feeling may arise from the perception that the number significant people around us is not enough. Her advice is that it might make sense "to view that feeling of loneliness as an alarm signal", an impulse to action. Listen to the whole episode on the Foundation's website and on the usual podcast platforms (only in Portuguese).
Check the first episode focused on the interpersonal relationships in the digital vs. real world.
