From the 16th to the 18th of November, the GreenCity4Aging, funded by the Foundation for Science and Technology (Ref. 2022.03478.PTDC), project research team participated at the 3rd AGE.COMM International Congress – Sustainability in Aging, which took place at the School of Technology of the Polytechnic Institute of Castelo Branco.
The project coordinator, Sibila Marques (CIS-Iscte), was the keynote speaker at the congress with a lecture on the thematic axis of Environment, Education and Culture, which was entitled “Climate Change: a struggle for all generations”.
André Samora-Arvela (ISTAR-Iscte) and Mariana Montalvão e Silva (CIS-Iscte) presented, respectively, the communications entitled “Aligning Active Mobility and Active Aging policies: insights from Portugal” and “Age-friendly cities and urban design: A stakeholder analysis”, whose authors are Sibila Marques, Sara Eloy, André Samora-Arvela and Mariana Montalvão e Silva.
