Eduardo Reis, a PhD student from CIS-Iscte, participated on the 57th edition of PubhD de Lisboa. The researcher took the opportunity to talk about his studies with men victims of intimate partner violence.
The PubhD is a monthly event where people get together in a bar or pub to talk about topics in academic research. The presentations must be understandable to the regular bar customer. The challenge is to explain one's research in 10 minutes without digital presentations. The audience has 20 minutes to ask questions. The idea was launched in Nottingham in 2014 and has been spreading.
