Abstract

In this talk, Dr Felipe Reinoso-Carvalho will present part of his research work, in which he assesses how what we hear can influence the tasting experience from perceptual and emotional perspectives.

About Dr Felipe Reinoso-Carvalho

Felipe Reinoso-Carvalho (@percepcionysentidos) is an associate professor at Universidad de los Andes School of Management (Colombia). He holds a joint-PhD in Experimental Psychology (KU Leuven) and Engineering (Vrije Universiteit Brussel). His work is about designing meaningful experiences by revisiting the literature of experiential marketing along with the rationale of multisensory perception. Besides publishing in high-profile scientific journals, his work has been covered by the popular press, such as The Guardian, The Washington Post, Psychology Today, and BBC Science Focus. In parallel with his tenure position at Universidad de los Andes, he holds an invited scholar position at IAE Angers (France). Felipe advocates for the development of science and for an appropriate understanding of technology as a means for a better future.
