CIS awards 59 researchers

CIS-Iscte has a policy of incentives for excellence in scientific research in line with Iscte's strategy and our center's mission. In the 2023 edition of the R&D awards, a total of 59 researchers were awarded.

The incentives were distributed to integrated members, associate members and doctoral students in two main categories:

  • 70% of the incentives were awarded for articles published in international scientific journals, indexed in the Journal Citation Report (JCR) of the Web of Science, or in the Scimago Journal Ranking (SJR) of Scopus in percentile Q1 and in definitive publication regime in the year 2023;

  • 30% of the incentives were awarded for the coordination (PI) or co-coordination (co-PI) of research projects that were submitted or funded or, if not funded, were evaluated by funding agencies above 75%, nationally and internationally, in the year 2023.
