The Centre for Psychological Research and Social Intervention (CIS-Iscte) is the Psychology Research Unit of Iscte-University Institute of Lisbon. We are dedicated to advancing theory and practice in psychology through cutting-edge psychological research.

CIS-Iscte is a FCT-funded centre of excellence dedicated to fostering psychological science for thriving societies. Our mission and commitment include the advancement of psychological knowledge, the analysis of the psychological and psycho-social dimensions of relevant social problems, and the development of evidence-based interventions, contributing to inform knowledge-based public policies and to analyze their public acceptance.
