LAPSO (Psychology Laboratory) is a support structure for the Centre for Psychological Research and Social Intervention (CIS-Iscte), the School of Social Sciences (ECSH), as well as the entire Iscte community. The laboratory supports research and training in Psychology at Iscte, in its most varied areas of study and levels of education. LAPSO encompasses specialized rooms for human behavior research, and a wide range of equipment, resources and services.

LAPSO supports research projects related to obtaining academic degrees (e.g. Master’s, PhD), to CIS-Iscte, and funded by external entities (e.g., FCT, BIAL). The laboratory team ensures the development and optimization of projects with advice on experimental design and programming, data collection and the acquisition of appropriate materials for the research.
