Mauro Bianchi received his PhD in 2007 from the International Graduate College at Friederich-Schiller-University in Jena and is currently an invited professor at ISCTE-IUL and Associate Member of CIS-IUL. His research focuses on intergroup relations and stereotyping. He is interested in the automatic activation of social knowledge and its consequences on intergroup behavior (e.g., approach/avoidance motor responses towards members of social groups).
