Catarina Possidónio is a PhD candidate in Psychology and she holds a master degree in Social and Organizational Psychology (ISCTE-IUL). Her PhD project aims to build knowledge on how to trigger transitions to more sustainable, healthy and ethical consumer behaviors, focusing on plant-based diets. Specifically, her work aims to study humans' attitudes towards animals, particularly the psychology of eating animals and the underlying cognitive processes involved in this behavior, and to explore what may shape consumers' willingness and intentions for such transition.
